St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Fundraiser by NASP®

May 22, 2025 – The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®) is proud to continue its tradition of supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by giving student archers a chance to raise funds for young patients and their families. Through a combination of virtual and in-person tournaments, NASP® participants have consistently shown generosity over the years. For the 2024-2025 season, their efforts resulted in more than $31,000 being raised for this important cause.

Dr. Tommy Floyd, President of NASP®, shared his appreciation: “This incredible outcome reflects the character of our student archers and their mentors. Their willingness to compete in fundraising events to help children in need makes us extremely proud. Across the country, schools and individuals have stepped up. These young athletes are not only passionate about archery, but also about making a difference in their communities. Giving back is a value we hold dear as our participants strive for excellence in both sport and service.”

NASP® incorporates international-style target archery into school curricula to enhance student engagement and academic performance, serving grades 4 through 12. More information about NASP® can be found at https://www.naspschools.org.
