The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®) is pleased to acknowledge the continued partnership with the Easton Sports Development Foundation (ESDF). This longstanding collaboration has played a key role in helping NASP® expand its presence in schools across the nation by providing essential resources to students and educators.
Both NASP® and ESDF share a mutual goal of growing youth archery participation. Through ESDF’s generous funding, NASP® has been able to help schools acquire complete sets of archery equipment—giving students a safe and structured environment to explore the sport as part of their school day.
“We are truly thankful for the ongoing support from the Easton Sports Development Foundation,” said Dr. Tommy Floyd, President of NASP®. “Their commitment has been instrumental in helping us fulfill our mission of making archery accessible to more students. These funds directly support the purchase of equipment for schools starting their archery programs. We are proud of this relationship, and the growth of NASP® is undeniably linked to partners like ESDF.”
Caren Sawyer, Executive Director of the Easton Foundations, commented, “We are proud of our 18-year collaboration with NASP®, which has positively impacted the sport by equipping and educating schools across the country and beyond. The Foundation remains committed to backing this impactful program as part of our broader mission to ‘Inspire Growth in Archery’ and change lives through this sport.”
With continued backing from ESDF, NASP® has introduced archery to over 23.5 million students in the U.S., including more than 1.3 million in 2024 alone. The program is now active in all 50 states, 8 Canadian provinces, the British Virgin Islands, and New Zealand.
NASP® brings international-style target archery into the school curriculum, promoting student engagement and academic improvement for grades 4–12. To learn more, visit https://www.naspschools.org.
