Ritseeniyah Georges Buxo

International Compound Archer | Field Archer | Three-Time National Record Holder

Ritseeniyah Georges Buxo is an accomplished compound archer representing The Virgin Islands (UK), with a competitive career spanning nearly a decade and experience across target, indoor, and outdoor field archery.

Her international journey began in 2017 at the Caribbean Developmental Championships in Puerto Rico, where she made an immediate impact by earning two gold medals—in the Compound Women 30-meter competition and Mixed Doubles. Her qualification score of 639 established a National Record and marked the beginning of a distinguished international career.

Ritseeniyah went on to represent the Virgin Islands at World Ranking Events in the Dominican Republic and Chile, as well as the Central American and Caribbean Games in El Salvador. More recently, she has competed internationally at The Vegas Shoot and in regional IFAA field archery competition, including a gold-medal performance in Trinidad & Tobago.

Her continued success at home has resulted in additional National Records, including her performances at the 2025 D. Abednego Cup and the 2026 VI Field Archery Nationals, making her a three-time National Record holder across different stages of her competitive career.

Beyond competition, Ritseeniyah is dedicated to the development and promotion of archery in The Virgin Islands (UK). Through her work in athlete development, NASP, and federation administration, she contributes to creating opportunities for young athletes and strengthening the future of the sport.

Her journey reflects discipline, adaptability, leadership, perseverance, and a commitment to continuous improvement—both as an athlete and as a leader in the archery community.
