17 November 2025 – The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®) is pleased to announce that it will take part in the 2026 SHOT Show, scheduled for January 20–23, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. As the largest trade show of its kind, the SHOT Show brings together thousands of professionals from the shooting, hunting, and outdoor recreation industries to highlight the newest products and innovations.
NASP® staff will be present throughout the event to meet with sponsors, partners, and industry stakeholders. They will share updates about the program’s ongoing expansion and its mission to introduce students to the lifelong advantages of archery. Since its inception, NASP® has reached millions of students across more than 10,000 schools, continuing to show how in-school archery can positively influence young people and foster a connection to the outdoors.
NASP® President Tommy Floyd remarked, “The SHOT Show offers a great opportunity to engage with many of our valued partners in the industry and outdoor media who support our focus on youth development, conservation, and outdoor recreation. We’re excited to highlight NASP®’s momentum and to cultivate new relationships that will help us serve even more students nationwide.”
The program is also celebrating its contributions to recent archery participation data released by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which shows that youth under 18 now represent the largest group of participants. “This demonstrates the strength of our partnerships. Together, we are helping grow archery across North America, and we welcome new partners who want to be part of this movement,” added Jeff Rawlinson, NASP® Vice President.
On January 20–21, NASP® leadership will be available for media interviews and discussions with organizations interested in expanding archery and youth shooting sports opportunities across the country.
SHOT Show attendees are invited to connect with NASP® representatives to learn more about sponsorships, program developments, and ways to support young archers both inside and outside the classroom.
The National Archery in the Schools Program integrates international-style target archery into school curricula to boost student engagement and academic performance while introducing youth in grades 4–12 to the shooting sports. More information can be found at naspschools.org.
