Place

The competition will take place in Trémolat (24).
The exact location for welcoming participants is at “Le Monteil” on Thursday, August 28th from 2:00 p.m. for equipment checks.
Please note: for anyone who has already used the club’s courses, the parking lot is not in the usual location. Follow the GPS coordinates below and/or the signs.

Dates:

Competition: August 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2025.
Registration begins: May 15, 2025.
Registration ends: July 20, 2025.
Payment deadline: July 20, 2025. Deadline for category changes (by email): August 15, 2025.

Course of the test:

Thursday, August 28

2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m .: Welcome of participants, opening of the practice area, collection of score sheets and inspection of equipment
6:00 p.m .: Closing of the registry, practice area and inspection of equipment
6:30 p.m .: Opening ceremony and reception with the “Bat’Folle”.

Friday, August 29

7:00 : Practice opens for warm-up.
7:45 : Practice closes.
8:00 : Briefing.
The starting arrangements for the courses will be determined later depending on the number of participants.
5:30 : Shooting ends.
6:00 : Club delegates meet

Saturday, August 30

07:00 : Practice area opens for warm-up.
07:45 : Practice area closes.
08:00 : Briefing.
The starting arrangements on the courses will be defined later depending on the number of participants.
17:30 : End of shooting.
19:30 : Lively festive meal at the Trémolat village hall .
Come in costume to try to win the competition for the best costume.
ATTENTION: The banquet is full. No more reservations possible.

Sunday, August 31

7:00 : Practice opens for warm-up.
7:45 : Practice closes.
8:00 : Briefing.
The starting conditions on the courses will be determined later depending on the number of participants.
12:00 : End of shooting.
2:00 p.m .: Awards ceremony – Closing ceremony.Types of courses

The competition includes 4 courses of 14 targets: standard 3D, Animal Round on targets, Field, Hunter.

Categories and types of bow

The competition is open to all bow types and age categories listed in the IFAA regulations.

For the record, the IFAA age categories are:

Seniors: 65+ years
Veterans: 55-64 years
Adults: 21-54 years
Young adults: 17-20 years
Juniors: 13-16 years
Cadets: under 13 years

For registration in the senior, veteran, young adult, junior, and cadet categories, proof of age identification will be required at the reception desk. Age is calculated on the first day of the competition.

Don’t forget to print your bib and your equipment control sheet on two separate sheets before your arrival.

Participation

This competition is open to members of all federations affiliated with the IFAA (France Field Tir Libre for France) whose license is up to date on the day of registration.
For foreign archers, select “Guest” from the list of clubs when registering.

This year, we have not set a maximum number of registrants.
The 500 you’ll see on some pages of the site is for informational purposes only.

Shooting Rules

The competition will take place from Friday morning to Sunday midday with each archer having a half-day of rest, set by the FFTL according to the categories.

The competition is governed by IFAA rules. These rules are outlined in the Archer’s Pocket Guide that was provided with your 2018 license. An updated version with the new 2021 IFAA regulations is available for download from the FFTL website.

 

 

Depending on the number of registrants, the organizers reserve the right to adjust the rules to ensure the warm welcome of participants and the safety of the shooting.

The Parcours France takes place on private land; please do not leave any litter.
Accompanying persons are not allowed on the courses.
Pets, even on leashes, are prohibited on the courses.
Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas.
The consumption of alcohol and drugs is prohibited on the courses.

Meal

You can reserve all meals offered upon registration.

Thursday and Friday evenings

Grilled meats (sausages/merguez) + packet of chips.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon

Cold meal tray.

Saturday evening

Costume banquet: Aperitif, jar of Bellevue salmon, sautéed veal, gratin dauphinois, Brie, Black Forest, Coffee.

PLEASE NOTE: The banquet is limited to 170 people.
Once this number is reached, reservations will no longer be possible.

The mandate will be regularly updated by the organization. Stay informed.

Miscellaneous

Remember to bring cash for the refreshment stands.
Artisan stalls are located on site.
Entertainment will be provided throughout the weekend.
